What is a PAGA system?

The PAGA system is an important safety element of the offshore personnel, both in the Oil and Gas as well as the Renewables industry. It integrates broadcasting with emergency communication and alarms, enabling a fast, safe and efficient communication with the offshore personnel.

It typically consists of Amplifiers, Speakers, Beacons, Access Panels and in many cases, it is combined with other types of communication systems, like PABX, UHF/TETRA Radios and other emergency systems like Fire & Gas, Access Control System and POB systems.

Based on component stock and committed deliveries of components and subassemblies, we can still produce Semsound products this year in restricted quantities. We are not actively offering the system, as several elements have become obsolete and we recommend new installations to choose our SemSound IP. To ensure your system is fully functional as per safety requirements, a service engineer can verify if any of the equipment is obsolete or spares are not manufactured and propose a solution tailored for the specific need.

Safety issues resolved!

Shoving the importance of doing regular system tests. In this case, we did a complete system test during a service visit for adding functionalities at the system. The system test revealed safety issues, which afterwards have been resolved.
