Our whistleblower arrangement allows employees to raise a concern about a possible criminal act and/or other serious risk that could threaten Semco Maritime A/S, the Semco Maritime Group of Companies or any of their employees.
As an early warning system, whistleblowing can help alert employers to risks related to, e.g.:
- Criminal offences like overcharging, fraud, bribery, forgery and similar
- Other issues related to accounting, internal control and/or corruption
- Issues related to individuals and/or the Group of Companies in isolated cases and/or as a whole
The arrangement shall allow Semco Maritime Group employees and others associated with the Semco Maritime Group of Companies, e.g. existing and former partners and former employees, to report on risks that may be contrary to Semco Maritime Group policies or current legislation.
The Semco Maritime whistleblower arrangement is based on The Danish Data Protection Agency’s guidelines on such arrangements.
Limitations to the arrangement
The whistleblower arrangement is not intended to cover breach of internal or external rules related to employment, ways of living/lifestyle, code of conduct for acceptable behavior, etc. Such matters will be handled by the HR department and staff organisations as far as Semco Maritime Group employees are concerned. The arrangement cannot be used for handling customer complaints.
