Full-Service Agreement with Global Tech I Offshore Wind

The agreement covers the maintenance of 80 AREVA M5000 wind turbines and is set to commence on 1 January 2026 with an initial term of 10 years. This reinforces Wind Multiplikator and Semco Maritime’s position as a trusted Full-Service Provider for offshore wind projects.

The Full-Service Agreement covers a comprehensive range of services, including scheduled maintenance with statutory inspections and certifications, troubleshooting with dedicated engineering support, preventive maintenance campaigns, wind farm availability warranty, logistics primarily utilizing a CSOV (Commissioning Service Operation Vessel), spare parts management, and Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) compliance. Integration of these services aims to ensure the long-term efficiency and reliability of Global Tech I’s wind turbines.

Operations will be run from Wind Multiplikator’s base harbour in Emden, leveraging its team of experienced offshore specialists, including former AREVA colleagues, to ensure high-quality service execution. The company has also been responsible for the service and maintenance of six AREVA and Senvion WTGs at the Alpha Ventus wind farm since 1 January 2025. This hands-on experience brings valuable operational expertise in AREVA technology to the Global Tech I project, further enhancing efficiency and service reliability.

With this agreement, Wind Multiplikator now manages the largest fleet of AREVA turbines in the market. This leading position enables Wind Multiplikator to leverage extensive operational insights and proven best practices, further enhancing the reliability and performance of Global Tech I’s turbines.
