In 2022, Semco Maritime embarked on a significant project with Noble Drilling, focusing on enhancing energy efficiency aboard the Noble Stanley Lafosse in the Gulf of Mexico. As part of Noble's commitment to sustainability, Semco was tasked with the installation and commissioning of advanced fuel monitoring systems, specifically the FUELTRAX Coriolis flowmeters, across all six main engines. This comprehensive project, from survey to commissioning, was executed efficiently, adhering to a detailed time schedule and maintaining budgetary constraints. The successful collaboration underscores Semco Maritime's expertise in delivering complex maritime solutions.
As a part of Noble’s energy efficiency program additional fuel monitoring systems were to be installed on their vessels which SEMCO was contracted to carry out from Survey to Commissioning. A detailed 3D survey was conducted and hereafter a SOW (and design) was prepared prior to installation.
The successful completion of the Noble Stanley Lafosse project exemplifies Semco Maritime's innovative "Shipyard in a Box" approach. By delivering comprehensive solutions from survey to commissioning, Semco Maritime demonstrated its ability to efficiently manage complex maritime projects, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime. This project not only highlights the company's commitment to excellence but also sets a benchmark for future energy efficiency initiatives in the maritime industry.
