The contract covers 18 Senvion 6.2 MW wind turbine generators, foundations and the offshore substation in a single-service setup scheduled to commence on 1 June 2026 for an initial contract term of 5.5 years with an option to extend.

The agreement represents the first service contract jointly delivered by Wind Multiplikator and Semco Maritime, combining wind turbines and offshore substation services within a single integrated service setup, reflecting a growing focus among offshore wind owners on this type of model, as assets mature and operators seek to simplify long-term operations through a single, accountable service setup.

“We are very proud that Nordergründe is the first contract where Wind Multiplikator and Semco Maritime jointly deliver integrated services covering both the wind turbines and the offshore substation. This truly represents a from-blade-to-grid approach and underlines our capability to provide long-term efficiency, high availability and reliable operations across the entire asset,” says Stephen Booth, Vice President, Service, Renewables Division at Semco Maritime and Managing Director of Wind Multiplikator.

The contract covers a comprehensive scope of services, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of wind turbine generators, foundations and the offshore substation as well as 24-hour surveillance and monitoring services, including marine coordination. The scope also comprises spare parts procurement, warehousing and management, engineering services and Quality, Health, Safety and Environment services.

“The integrated service model allows Skyborn to reduce operational complexity by aligning responsibilities across turbines and offshore substation under a single service framework. This supports efficient long-term operations and optimises total cost of ownership for Nordergründe,” says Jan Engelbert, Head of Asset Management at Skyborn Renewables and Managing Director of Nordergründe.

The collaboration with Skyborn Renewables is based on a partnership-driven approach, aimed at creating sustainable value for both parties through operational excellence, transparency and long-term performance. Logistics will be provided by Skyborn Renewables, with Hooksiel serving as service base.
