    Our maintenance team at Vår Energi at Balder, have been performing continuous maintenance at Balder since 2014. They've been a big part of every “Planned Maintenance Shut Down” since 2014 handling repairs and upgrades. They are now part of the life extension of Balder and are in the process of overhauling the turret wheels.

    Work
    • Compressor overhauls, thruster and generator replacements.
    • Welding repairs and hull reinforcements.
    • Installation of new equipment.
    • Separator tank overhauls and rebuilds.
    • Improvements to access platforms and walkways.
    • Hydraulic systems maintenance and repairs.
    • Work in engine rooms rooms, such as replacement of vibration dampers for main engines.
    • They engineer and manufacture various equipment along the way, such as. spark arrestors on exhaust pipes, fans, and other constructions.
