Front-end engineering and design - This phase of basic engineering is conducted after the completion of Conceptual Design or Feasibility Study. This is the stage, before start of EPC (engineering, procurement and construction), where we do various studies in order to figure out technical issues and estimate costs.

Ponticelli, Brand and Semco Maritime joined forces in 2019 to establish PBS - an integrated services consortium. Under a 5-year contract, PBS will manage asset integrity, maintenance and reliability, fabric maintenance, shutdowns and modification projects for all TEPUK operated assets. PBS will standardise the ways of working across TEPUK assets and make greater use of technology to improve efficiency and reduce operations and engineering costs, whilst maintaining the highest standards in asset integrity, safety or environmental performance.
The responsibilities of Semco Maritime under the PBS consortium include:

The Field Operation contract provides field
operation technicians for Total Energies
Denmark as sole providers in the Danish
Part of the North Sea. We operate at several
key locations, including Harald, Gorm, DAN
Fox, Skjold, Halfdan, HBC, and TYRA.
The contract encompasses both fixed
installations and summer campaigns W2W
(Walk to Work), ensuring efficient
operation and maintenance.
Key positions include HSE Supervisor, Lab technicians, Permit Coordinators and Production Operators, all of whom play a vital role in maintaining safety and productivity throughout the contract.
Semco Maritime has delivered in average 80 people to Total Energies' offshore installations in the Danish sector. All employees are on long-term contracts and working 2-3 rotas.
Customer: INEOS E&P A/S
Location: The Danish part of the North Sea
Period: 2010-ongoing
Framework agreement including the provision of onshore and offshore services to Ineos. The majority of the services are taking place on Ineos' offshore installations in the Danish part of the North Sea.
