Official inauguration of new office in Poland

Over the course of the last year, Semco Maritime has established a new office in Gdynia with 32 specialised employees forming an integral part of the group’s international project teams and supporting the growth within renewable energy projects, both internationally and in Poland. The new office was inaugurated on 7 October and is already contributing to Semco Maritime's progress.

David C. Hutchinson new Managing Director of Semco Maritime UK

David C. Hutchinson has been appointed Managing Director and UK Country Head of Semco Maritime Ltd. effective 13 October 2022. He will be based in Aberdeen and spearhead Semco Maritime’s growth ambitions for the UK operations currently comprised of more than 280 skilled employees.

Martin Oehlenschlæger - new CFO of Semco Maritime

Martin Oehlenschlæger (43) has joined Semco Maritime as CFO and member of the Executive Board on 1 October 2022, reporting to CEO Steen Brødbæk. He will succeed Jørgen Devantier Gade who has served as CFO since 2013 and will retire after contributing to ensuring a smooth transition.

Stephan Claussen new Managing Director of Semco Maritime Germany

Stephan Claussen (55) has been appointed Managing Director of Semco Maritime GmbH Germany effective 1 August 2022. He will be based in Semco Maritime’s new office in Hamburg and focus mainly on supporting the growth in Offshore Wind in Germany. 

New SVP for renewables - Thomas Thomsen

Thomas Thomsen (49) has joined Semco Maritime as Senior Vice President for the Group’s Renewables business. As a member of the Group Senior Management Team, he will report to CEO Steen Brødbæk.
