Aerosol Firefighting System

Dry Sprinkler  Powder Aerosols (DSPA) uses a fine aerosol mist to interrupt the fire's chemical chain reaction, offering automatic or manual activation for rapid, clean fire suppression.

Benefits of the Aerosol System

Aerosol firefighting systems represent a new era in fire suppression technology. Designed for efficient and environmental sustainability, and highly effective in safeguarding lives and critical assets. With their rapid deployment and minimal residue, they are perfectly suited for diverse settings, from data centres to industrial machinery. Aerosol solutions are suitable for a wind turbine nacelle because it is lightweight; most aerosol solutions are "stand-alone" as they do not need pipework or pressurised cylinders to work.

How it works

DSPA aerosol generators can be used as a part of a high effective fixed extinguishing system. These non-pressurized units are installed inside a room or compartment that requires protection. Upon activation, an aerosol cloud is generated, which expanse volumetrically, flooding the space and extinguishing the fire.

Aerosol firefighting systems employ a combination of air/inert gases with solid micro-particles that suppress fire. The primary extinguishing mechanism of aerosol systems involves chemically interfering with the free radicals in the fire zone - it simply interrupts the chain reaction of fuel, oxygen and heat in a fire.

Key Features of Aerosol Firefighting Systems

  1. Rapid Fire Suppression
The system activates within seconds, releasing a fine aerosol that interrupts the chemical chain reaction of fire, extinguishing it swiftly before it can spread.
  2. No Water, No Damage
Unlike traditional systems, aerosol solutions don’t rely on water or foam, meaning no damage to electronics, documents, or sensitive equipment.
  3. Compact & Easy to Install
These systems are compact and modular, requiring minimal space and no complex piping—ideal for both new builds and retrofit installations.
  4. Eco-Friendly & Safe
The aerosol agent is non-toxic, ozone-friendly, and safe for use in occupied areas, meeting international environmental and safety standards.
  5. Low Maintenance, High Reliability
Designed for long-term reliability, these systems require minimal upkeep and have a lifespan of up to 15 years without the need for recharging.

Why Choose an Aerosol Firefighting System?

In emergency situations where every second is crucial, you need a fire suppression solution that acts instantly and reliably. Our aerosol system is engineered to automatically activate upon fire detection, releasing a dense, fast-moving cloud of extinguishing particles that halt combustion without harming the protected environment. This modern solution is ideal for protecting high-value, high-tech infrastructure, offering a cost-effective, clean, and incredibly reliable method of fire suppression. Suitable for critical IT equipment, electrical cabinets, vehicles, and remote facilities, our system ensures peace of mind with advanced engineering you can trust. Choose the smarter way to fight fire.

Inert Gas System

Inergen

Why choose an Inert Gas System?

  • Rapid fire extinguishing – usually within 40 seconds.
  • Thorough fire extinguishment – minimizing reignition risks.
  • No harm to individuals or equipment.
  • Prevents secondary damages.
Foam System

Compressed Air Foam (CAF)

Why choose a foam system?

  • Efficient firefighting against fuel fires.
  • Useable in outdoor environments.
  • Object protection for equipment requiring three-dimensional coverage of firefighting
  • Fluorine-free foam provides environmentally friendly firefighting solutions.
DiFF system

Helideck Firefighting Systems

Why choose a helideck firefighting system?

  • A standalone helideck firefighting system ensures that the helideck can be used even if the foam system has been released/emptied.
  • Non-pop-up nozzles which are almost flat on top of the helideck.
  • With a safety deck, only water is needed to extinguish a fire.

With Semco Maritime as your service provider you will get strong technical solutions, based on more than 40 years of offshore experience ...
