The project involves a pre-Front End Engineering Design (pre-FEED) scope for a ~200 MW High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) power from shore solution. At a conceptual level, the scope includes the design of the HVDC topside and jacket, the HVDC cable to shore, and the HVDC onshore substation.
Our role encompasses creating the necessary technical documentation and providing both Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Operational Expenditure (OPEX) assessments. These inputs are crucial for aiding the client's decision-making process. Semco Maritime evaluates the technical feasibility, cost implications, and operational requirements of the proposed solution, ensuring the client has a comprehensiveunderstanding of the project's potential impacts and benefits.
By delivering detailed and accurate assessments, Semco Maritime aim to equip the client with all the necessary information to make informed decisions that align with their strategic and financial goals, ultimately facilitating a successful implementation of the HVDCpower from shore solution.
