Scope including inspection, maintenance, repair of electrical systems and other service jobs as part of a 5-yearly electrical special periodic survey (SPS) of the Maersk Voyager. The services were performed while the drillship was stacked off the coast of Namibia.
Competences and systems
- Inspection and maintenance of switchboards
- Inspection and maintenance of circuit breakers, including tests of LV and MV breakers
- Inspection and maintenance of thrusters
- Inspection and maintenance of main generators
- Inspection, cleaning and re-torqueing of transformers

- The SPS projects were completed on time
- All scopes of the SPSs were carried out without any assistance from third parties
- Following the survey, Semco Maritime will perform various modification scopes as part of a 5-year service contract for the drillship
