Vineyard Wind OSS – FAS System Design, Configuration and Commissioning

Vineyard has contracted Semco Maritime to deliver a comprehensive fire detection system for an Offshore Substation System (OSS) platform off the east coast of the USA. Running from 2021 to 2023, this project involves designing, procuring, and commissioning a system that meets stringent US fire safety standards.

Solution

Delivery of a fire detection system for the OSS platform, designed in compliance with US standards and regulations. The system is capable of fire detection and provides trip and control functionality according to the C&E matrix, as well as interfacing with and controlling the fire extinguishing system (FES).
