He has many years of offshore wind experience from the Baltics and the North Sea and will contribute to Semco Maritime’s mission of making clean offshore wind even more affordable.
Stephan Claussen has a proven leadership track record from international companies, having served as a Projects Director at engineering and consulting company Fichtner GmbH & Co.KG where he focused on offshore and onshore go-to-market strategy development and implementation in Germany, Poland and Taiwan as well as technical and commercial management of renewable energy projects. He has also been Head of Regional Major Projects at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy where he designed offshore wind turbines. Additionally, he developed and implemented strategies to reduce operational and maintenance cost (LCOE) He holds a degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University in Braunschweig.
