Repair and
unscheduled maintenance
Ideally this type of maintenance is identified and carried out in continuation of preventive maintenance. In case a malfunction or breakdown has occurred - the purpose is always to quickly restore functionality while ensuring no or minimum downtime for the customer.
Not always urgent - but always inconvenient!
“Repairs and unscheduled maintenance” might sound urgent – but the truth is that we are not always dealing with urgent issues. Most often, the corrective maintenance tasks might be unscheduled - but it is our experience that the corrective work can very often be planned.
It could for example be a corrosion issue that is discovered – it needs to be fixed – but we have time to plan a well-thought-out coating campaign that solves the issue. This way we avoid these non-critical issues from becoming critical and the repair work causes minimal inconvenience.

NEW IN OFFSHORE WIND SERVICE
Following the recent acquisition of Wind Multiplikator, we now have access to a unique infrastructure in Emden that includes specially prepared areas for major component overhauling and storage, 24/7 control room, material management as well as quay facilities with a heavy lift gantry crane up to 450t and direct access to the North Sea.
Backed by in-house capabilities
Engineering and design
This type of service tasks can also include both engineering and design tasks – e.g. repair of a faulty cooling water system.
In such cases, we benefit from not only being a service provider – but also largely an EPC project business. Due to our EPC business our back office is packed with experienced designers, engineers and specialists – all with a thorough knowledge of all systems offshore.
We take pride in putting these in-house capabilities to use for the benefit of our customers and their assets.
