In a project for Seajacks UK Limited, Semco Maritime undertook a comprehensive vessel upgrade and mobilisation of the Seajacks Scylla in Esbjerg, Denmark, from October 2020 to February 2021. The project involved transporting 700 tons of sea fastening from Rotterdam for modification and reinforcement to accommodate next-generation wind turbines. Key tasks included the installation of modified sea fastening, a Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS), and various maintenance activities at the Esbjerg quay. The project also encompassed vessel reinforcement, thruster seal replacement, hull cleaning, and painting, with a total project cost of 3.5 million Euros.
