Annual report: Semco Maritime’s momentum continued in 2021

Semco Maritime is recruiting more than 200 people

Due to the significant growth of offshore projects in the North Sea, Semco Maritime currently finds themselves faced with an interesting challenge. The company needs to recruit a high number of people in a short amount of time – more than 200 positions, some of which need to be filled before Q2 this year.

Semco Maritime to perform service  on Floatel superior

Floatel International has awarded Semco Maritime a contract for service work on the semi-submersible rig Floatel Superior. The harsh environment rig will dock at Hanøytangen in mid-February, and the project is expected to employ around 100 people until mid-March.

Project Greensand gets DKK 197M for North Sea CO2 storage

Wednesday afternoon the Danish Energy Agency announced that it will award 197 million DKK to the consortium behind Project Greensand for CCS (carbon capture storage). The carbon storage project will support Denmark’s ambitions to reach a 70 percent CO2 reduction by 2030.

Bladt and Semco win three 880 MW US offshore substations

A consortium of strategic partners Bladt Industries and Semco Maritime has been awarded a turnkey contract on the world’s largest offshore wind project so far – Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind– for U.S. utility company Dominion Energy Virginia.
