Vineyard Wind LLC (Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Avangrid Renewables) and Bladt Industries have signed a contract for fabrication and delivery of the Vineyard Wind project’s offshore substation. The Vineyard Wind project will be first utility-scale offshore wind farm in the US.

Semco Maritime has signed a two-year service contract with Danish energy company Orsted (formerly DONG Energy) for service and maintenance of the Reactive Compensation Station (RCS) and the three offshore substations (OSS) installed at the world’s largest wind farm, Hornsea One, situated in the British part of the North Sea.

Semco Maritime has been awarded a 5-year service contract for the Deutsche Bucht offshore wind farm, owned by Northland Power. Alongside, Semco Maritime doubles staffing at offshore centre in Norddeich due to increasing activity.

Semco Maritime to develop and optimize the electrical infrastructure for Northland Power/Yushan Energy Co. Ltd.’s Hai Long offshore wind farm project in Taiwan.

Semco Maritime and Moffatt & Nichol have signed an agreement to offer common engineering services to the offshore wind industry in the United States.

As part of their strategy to become global market leaders, these Danish veterans of the wind power industry will produce and supply offshore substations together with the Taiwanese shipyard.
