Semco Maritime to develop and optimize the electrical infrastructure for European Energy A/S’s nearshore wind farms in Jammerland Bay and Omø Syd, Denmark

Wind energy and sustainability pioneer, Ørsted, has awarded Semco Maritime a 1-year service contract for programmed preventive maintenance on the two offshore substations for wind farms Borkum Riffgrund 1 and Borkum Riffgrund 2 in Germany.

Swire Blue Ocean contracted Semco Maritime for the installation of a 422-tonne crane boom on windfarm Installation Vessel Pacific Osprey to expand its capacity and enable handling of the next generation of wind turbine generators. Vineyard Wind LLC (Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Avangrid Renewables) and Bladt Industries have signed a contract for fabrication and delivery of the Vineyard Wind project’s offshore substation. The Vineyard Wind project will be first utility-scale offshore wind farm in the US.
